I suppose this is my general statement. It will be open to my friends and the media. If anyone is to step forward and speak on the recent issues with the Avengers, it should be me.
The reports are correct. The Avengers were attacked recently. We were each targeted individually, but I am not at liberty to say by what...at this point. Most of the team is healing and have returned to their previous homes or other arrangements. At this time, that is all I can say about the actual attack and where the Avengers are.
As far as the future, the team will continue. We will be searching for a more permanent base. It is important in this time that the general public do not panic. The threat has been contained at the time, and will not be an immediate issue as far as I can tell. But the Avenger will go on, as a peace keeping force for the world. This is not a reflection of individual members or a reason to fear.
I appreciate your time, and remain dedicated to my mission of keeping the people safe.

Events have been fairly quiet lately, which is good. The Skrull threat has not reappeared, but I am debating on sending an Avenger out to the warehouse we busted up, Just to make sure. I am thinking about sending Spider-Man. I am worried out the young man. He needs something to keep his mind off...things. As far as the others, I had a lovely dinner with Natalia. Also have been speaking with other Team-Mates that have slipped through the cracks. The team is full of wonderful people, who I would fight to the death for without hesitation. It is a good feeling.
As far as Tony, I think everything is fine...for anyone who cared. Was touch and go for a minute, and we somehow avoided showing up on a tabloid cover. He does have a bit of an ego...but he...I will save that for another time...
But the current mission is the same. Keep the city safe. I will be sending someone to check the old Skrull site, and keep on the lookout for any new threats. I'm also concerned about the Mutant Cure. The few mutants I have spoken too seem to let it roll off their shoulders. It really reminds me of Germany. The Jews acted like nothing was happening, even as they were lead to the camps. I didn't have much to do with their liberation, but it was a driving factor for me during the war. The reminder is scary. And as much as I am not effected, I need to think of my friends. Emma, McCoy, Xavier. All good people who don't deserve this. I hope nothing comes of it.

[Locked to only Steve Rogers]
This entry has been locked to only myself. Mainly because the contents might be harmful at a later time. Especially after my meeting with Tony, I wouldn't want the others knowing exactly what was happening with the Avengers.
As a tactician, it is only smart to know your own team. Know their strength and weakness completely. I mention to Tony that if he ever did cross a line, I would be there to stop him. I almost felt bad. He took it completely wrong. I meant it more as a reassurance. He took it as a wish to harm him. I will have to work on that relationship when I have more energy.
But the issue is, am I wrong to keep a file on my team? I felt like I needed to know how to stop them in the even they switched sides. I have these files hidden from others, but is it right? I don't know. After seeing how Tony reacted, maybe not.

Today was fairly slow. Nothing was going on at the tower, not that I could tell anyway. I did ask Natalia to dinner in order to get to know her better. I need to start doing that with the other Avengers, I think. But things I learned today:
1. Make sure you lock comments about previous missions.
2. Make sure your best friend told his girlfriend about previous missions before posting it openly.
3. We always need to be on the lookout for new threats.
4. Might be good to ask Tony to modify my bike more...when he isn't angry with me.

So, after Hank Pym showed me how to full use this computer, I have decided to start keeping my thoughts jotted down. It also doesn't help that things have changed recently. The news is reporting about a mutant cure, but last week some fellow Avengers and I repelled an Alien thread. Of course, it didn't make the papers very much, but it happened. These aliens could take the form of anyone. So this journal will mainly to be so I can make sure I am me...I guess. Heh.
Anyway, I hope everyone who can see this is doing well. From what Hank told me, anyone who I am friends with can see this. So if you are an Avenger, or from Xavier's School, I hope you are doing alright.
